About Us

Meet Chari Mullen

Chari Mullen is the principal consultant for CSM Practical Solutions and a Certified Diversity Professional through the National Council of Diversity.  With a solid foundation in leadership and a passion for serving others, she is an established civic leader and specialized consultant in public policy, legislation, and process improvement strategy. Mullen has worked with community leaders to develop inclusive talent management, revise their fair housing ordinance, and advanced minority economic development through her board leadership with the Northwest Ohio Minority Business Assistance Center.

Her professional experiences reach into education, government, community, and non-profit sector. As a social impact strategist, Mullen led the Community of Excellence initiative known as Greater Fremont 43420. She collaborated across the community to embed an inclusive ecosystem, where all residential groups have an opportunity to thrive. In addition, Mullen is a public speaker, former court appointed special advocate for abused and neglected children (CASA), founder of Momma’s House Community Development Center, and serves on numerous boards and councils.

She holds a Master of Business Administration in Leadership and Bachelor of Criminal Justice in Justice Administration from Tiffin University. She is currently a doctoral candidate in Public Policy & Administration at Walden University. In 2023, Mullen was inducted into the Vanguard-Sentinel Tech Hall of Fame.

As a servant leader and educator, she has been building community, inspiring action, and
uplifting leaders to push the success needle forward through positive innovation. Mullen speaks and acts from a spirit of collaboration. In her leisure time, she loves engaging in book clubs, listening to jazz music, and exploring new adventures.
